Horizon Foundation Donates

defibriLlator to Gibbsboro

The Horizon Foundation, a local non-profit organization, presented the Borough of Gibbsboro with a life saving automated external defibrillator (AED) at Wednesday’s (23 October) regular meeting of the Borough Council. The AED will be deployed at all times in a Gibbsboro Police Department vehicle to provide immediate first responder emergency care for individuals in cardiac distress. Officers within the Gibbsboro Police Department are trained in the use of the AED.

The Horizon Foundation was founded by friends of William “Bill” Curry after his untimely death from a heart attack at a local recreation center. Since its creation, the foundation has donated AEDs to Bellmawr, Washington Township, Monroe Township, Runnemede, and Gibbsboro.
